Hold on and keep the faith. Pray.

Around the timing of this post, more and more news coverage had poured in regarding yet another senseless act of violence.  This time the senseless act was against innocent people celebrating in Nice, France.  I had planned on doing a post for some announcements, but thought it better to post-pone it for another day.  I felt at a loss for words over the enormous loss of life.  Yet another hashtag calls for everybody to pray – #PrayForNice.

So pray.  Those who are in Christ, the redeemed of the Lord, pray without ceasing.  I could go on about prayer and how vitally important it is for this time, but I’ll leave it there for now.  May those affected by all the recent senseless tragedies, feel the comfort and be filled with the peace that only God can give.

I realize this is post is shorter than usual; therefore, you might also be interested in my previous posts #PrayFortheWorld and Key#3 of the Peace Series on Knowing God (The Holy Spirit).

I’m also giving away “Verses of Peace”, a mini-eBook (pdf) collection of Bible verses on Peace.  It seems fitting for the times we are in.  It is a free gift to my email subscribers.  If you have not already signed up, you can do that here.

As a follower of Christ, you have been born of God and have overcome the world, regardless of what has happened or what might happen in the future.  Remember, we are just passing through.  So live and walk in love…not fear.
